EnviroMix announced today that its technology will be utilized as part of the water system upgrade, designed by Anderson Montgomery Consulting Engineers, at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Helena, Montana. The Montana Law Enforcement Academy provides year round law enforcement as well as public safety education and training programs.
EnviroMix will provide its AquaBlend™ Compressed Gas Mixing System to mix the academy’s 60,000 gallon elevated water storage tank. The AquaBlend system, utilizing a medical grade air compressor, to ensure 100% clean pure air along with a valve control panel, will be installed in the upgraded pump house. The bubble forming nozzle installed at the base of the riser will intermittently and frequently release bursts of air to actively mix the tank contents, to provide continuous liquid movement, and most importantly provide freeze protection during winter conditions to maintain essential fire protection capability. In addition to the performance attributes of the AquaBlend system, unlike other mechanical mixing systems, AquaBlend in tank components will not require maintenance and are conveniently located in the base of the water tank versus in the difficult to access elevated tank.
“The AquaBlend system for the Montana LEA will provide reliable water availability during cold weather, and will also eliminate thermal stratification to preserve water quality by preventing formation of disinfection byproducts,” says Enviromix’s David Lauer, director of regional sales.
The AquaBlend system is currently operational and will be a great asset this winter. EnviroMix is pleased to provide the Montana Law Enforcement Agency with a simple, low maintenance mixing and freeze protection solution as part of their water treatment system upgrade.
