Lift Stations

Lift stations are designed to convey raw sewage through the collection system to the wastewater treatment facility. Two key functions of the collection process are maintaining the suspension of solids and preventing the formation of grease caps in the wet-well.

A BioMix Compressed Gas Mixing System accomplishes these objectives, providing mixing in difficult geometries, breaking up and emulsifying grease, and minimizing in-tank maintenance.

Straightforward Operation
  • Non-clogging, maintenance free components in tank
  • No motors or electrical components in the tank requiring maintenance
Process Optimization
  • Vertical mixing regime that breaks the surface of the liquid dissipating unemulsified fat, oil, and grease (FOG)
  • Variable mixing intensity capabilities based on changing depths
