EPA Highlights EnviroMix in Latest Emerging Technologies Report

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released an update to its report on emerging technologies, identifying EnviroMix as an innovative technology for efficient mixing. The publication, Emerging Technologies for Wastewater Treatment and In-Plant Wet Weather Management, was developed by the EPA as a tool for owners, operators, and engineers seeking information on innovative technologies. EnviroMix was selected for its efficient mixing technology, focused on driving down power costs by 60% or more as compared to legacy technologies.

“Once again, we are extremely proud to be part of this publication which demonstrates our continued value in helping water and wastewater professionals reduce energy demand,” said Ted Jenkins, CEO of EnviroMix. “We continue to see rapid adoption of our engineered solutions focused on efficient mixing and process controls.”

The EnviroMix technology summary can be found in chapter six, “Energy Conservation Measures” (pg 165). The EPA review highlights the Company’s mixing technology solutions for both anoxic and anaerobic zones, in order to drive down energy demand while meeting nutrient removal limits.
