Sludge Holding Tanks

Sludge holding tanks provide storage of biosolids and can serve as a location for thickening before further processing or disposal. Mixing in sludge holding tanks provides uniform sludge concentration, prevents sludge stratification, and ensures a homogeneous feed to dewatering equipment.

A BioMix Compressed Gas Mixing System provides non-clog performance, eliminates in-tank maintenance, and allows mixing intensity to be adjusted based on sludge concentration and depth. Additionally, BioMix uses a fraction of the energy needed to mix the tank contents versus mechanical mixers, jet or pump mixing systems, or diffused aeration.

Additionally, an AquaBlend Potable Water Mixing System provides energy-efficient, low-maintenance mixing in water treatment plant sludge tanks to maintain homogeneity.
