Tyler Kunz is a lifelong Packers fan. Not surprising really, since he has lived nearly all of his life in Wisconsin. “There is only one team as far as I’m concerned,” he mused. Others may take issue, but Tyler knows a thing or two about football, having played college football at Michigan Tech. Nowadays he applies his college experience as a linebacker to coaching two of his five children on youth football teams. He feels strongly that playing football was one of the most important learning experiences in his life: “Michigan Tech is a great engineering school that prepared me well for my career, but playing college football prepared me for life; I learned time management, how to be a team player and how to get along with just about anyone.”
After graduating from Michigan Tech with a degree in environmental engineering, Tyler began his career working at Sanitaire, a wastewater equipment company specializing in diffused aeration and biological treatment systems “I came up through the ranks and held every position there was in the sales department from Application Engineer to National Sales Manage,” says Tyler. In 2013, Tyler got interested in EnviroMix, as he explained, “I was really excited by the technology. It’s a unique product because it saves energy and reduces maintenance at the same time. I am also thrilled to be working for a smaller company where I can make my mark.” At EnviroMix today, Tyler is Vice President of Sales and covers territory primarily in the Midwest, West and Northeast regions.
