A live demonstration of EnviroMix’s compressed gas mixing technology will be performed at the Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) Mauldin Road WWTP in Greenville SC. ReWa and EnviroMix personnel will describe and demonstrate the field-proven, energy-efficient BioMix system to Open House attendees on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
In May 2011, a 5-hp BioMix system was installed in this BNR facility and operates in Anoxic Cell “C” in Train BR2-1 opposite of a 15-hp mechanical mixer operating in parallel train BR2-2, Anoxic Cell C. The 27 data points (see graph) identify the respective data for each mixing technology for both Cell C effluent nitrate concentration. The average effluent nitrate concentration for BioMix is slightly lower (thus better) at 2.19 mg/L versus that of the mechanical mixer (2.39 mg/L). Other test data, such as total suspended solids, dissolved oxygen, oxidative reduction potential, and orthophosphate, identify no significant difference between the two mixing technologies. Thus, the BioMix system performs the same mixing function as the mechanical mixer at only one-third the energy requirement.
Please reserve your personal demonstration time on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10am, 12pm, or 2pm EST by contacting our local representative, Jim Stanton of Atlantic Process Sales, at 843-216-3879. CE credit forms will be offered for your records.
We look forward to seeing you at the Mauldin Road WWTP, 561 Mauldin Road, Greenville SC 29607.
